WET CARPET RESTORATION

Whenever possible, carpet restoration is decidedly a more cost-effective alternative to replacement.  However, the key to successful restoration is immediate treatment to prevent the onset of mold and mildew.  The more mold and mildew odors intensify, the less likely successful carpet restoration will be.

Restoration methods depend on the type of carpet.

Glued Carpet

1.     All excess water is extracted.
2.     The carpet is treated with a fungicide.
3.     The carpet is cleaned using All Under Water Restoration’s exclusive methods.
4.     The carpet is retreated with fungicides and deodorant.

Carpet with Pad

1.     All excess water is extracted.

2.     All wet pad is (and must be) thrown away.

3.     Ideally, carpeting should be restored on-site, providing the premises are
conducive to doing so.  When on-site restoration is not possible, the damaged
carpet is moved to  All Under Water Restoration warehouse**, treated with
fungicide and deodorant, then stored on racks until ready for re-installation
        over new pad.

4.     The carpet is cleaned after installation using All Under Water Restoration
exclusive cleaning methods. (The carpeting is cleaned after installation to
        prevent shrinkage.)

5.     As a last step, the carpet is retreated with fungicide and deodorant.

As specialists water damage restoration, All Under Water Restoration, has developed a number of cleaning methods and products, including specially formulated fungicides and deodorant, designed for the effective treatment of water damaged carpets.

*All furniture and equipment must be moved off wet carpet or blocked and padded.

** We do not recommend moving less expensive grades of carpet.  Unless the carpet is high grade quality the expense and inconvenience of restoration may not be feasible.

Sewage Remediation
Sewage Remediation

Indoor water destruction encourages the growth of bacteria, which are disease-causing pathogens and allergens.

When flooding occurs, a quick reaction to seepage, spillage or backups can save your valuable property from direct water damage, as well as protect your family or other occupants from harmful contaminants.  Immediate response to a water emergency saves time and money and protects property and health.

We immediately remove harmful substances, salvage and restore valuable property and sanitize all surfaces and systems to remove raw sewage and dangerous organic contaminants.

When your building is contaminated with sewage backing up from the septic lines or from flooding that involves sewage or organic matter, as in the case of a river overflowing and invading your property, there is a serious threat to human health.

Decontamination, which includes water extraction, cleaning, and disinfection, can be effective in reducing this particular potential health risk.

Without appropriate action, extensive damage will occur immediately. Several days may elapse before the cause of the backup is determined, the problem corrected, and flooding subsides. This exposes your property to permeation and contamination and leads to the growth of potentially disease-causing bacteria, which may pose a serious health risk to occupants of the building.

·         We assess the damage and remediate the problem by completely sanitizing and decontaminating the surfaces, structure and systems.

·         Everything is cleansed properly and residue and microbial contaminants are effectively removed.
